MMS Backup Data Location

By default... where are your backups placed when you have the BackUp Agent installed on your MMS installation?



We continuously tail your oplog and keep your data backed up in our geographically redundant data centers. When you request a restore it is delivered over the internet to wherever you choose either via SCP or HTTPS.



So there is currently not an option to allow the customer to stipulate where their data is saved?  Many customers can not have their data handled by third parties, or outside of particular server cluster location.



Not at this time. We currently only have datacenters in the US.

If you have restrictions on where data can be held, you may be better served by getting a MongoDB subscription and running MMS On-Prem yourself.
