PyMongo 2.8rc2 Released

Version 2.8rc2 of the MongoDB Python driver (PyMongo) has been released. 

This is the third release candidate for PyMongo 2.8, which adds full support for MongoDB 2.8 and fixes a number of issues reported since the last release. See the changelog for a detailed list of changes.

This release candidate supports changes to the listCollections and listIndexes commands in MongoDB 2.8rc3 and 2.8rc4. 

Since this is a release candidate it is not being released on pypi. You can install it with pip: 

pip install https://github.com/mongodb/mongo-python-driver/archive/2.8rc2.tar.gz 

or easy_install: 

easy_install https://github.com/mongodb/mongo-python-driver/archive/2.8rc2.tar.gz
