PyMongo 2.8rc1 Released

Version 2.8rc1 of the MongoDB Python driver (PyMongo) has been released.

This is the second release candidate for PyMongo 2.8, which adds full support for MongoDB 2.8 and fixes a number of issues reported since the last release. See the changelog for a detailed list of changes.

Since this is a release candidate it is not being released on pypi. You can install it with pip:

pip install https://github.com/mongodb/mongo-python-driver/archive/2.8rc1.tar.gz

or easy_install:

easy_install https://github.com/mongodb/mongo-python-driver/archive/2.8rc1.tar.gz
