Please advise if there is a way to deploy a simplified cluster of Primary+Secondary+Arbiter using management agent?
I see no way so far.

Hi,
When you signup for a new MMS group the deployment wizard currently follows a streamlined path.
You can configure an Arbiter (as well as other replica set options like priorities and delayed nodes) either by:
- choosing the "Advanced Setup" link during initial registration (should be a link at the top right of the page after you register your group name; see attached screenshot) and then "show member options" when creating a new replica set
- editing an existing replica set configuration:https://docs.mms.mongodb.com/ tutorial/edit-replica-set/# edit-a-replica-set-member
Thanks for very detailed answer, my question might need more detail too. I've already found these advanced settings for members and Arbiter checkboxes are all inactive in my three node setup.
I thought that it might be a limitation of MMS (not allowing less redundancy) so I decided to ask.

Hi,
To update an existing 3-node replica set configuration you will need to add an arbiter node and remove one of the secondaries.
The arbiter checkbox is disabled for existing nodes because once a role has been set (either as a data-bearing secondary or an arbiter) it cannot be changed. You should be able to edit other options for existing nodes such as priority, delay, and whether the node is hidden.
Thanks for sorting that for me, Stephen!
Will deploy an extra VM to make this maneuver.
